They would be warmer that gloves, my main worry is that they would be too warm, but then I tend to wear mitts through out the winter anyway (I did buy a pair of cycling gloves, but I only use them for skiing when the temp is below -5C).
+1 I think they would be warmer than the same spec gloves with individual fingers.
If you suffer from cold hands (I do), they may be worth a try. But they seem rather expensive, probably partly for the novelty value ...
If you do get them , make sure you do a review for the rest of us "cold-fingers"
