Anyone tried neoprene gloves for cycling

I have just bought some new ones for open water swimming in the colder times (ie most of the time!). There are Northern Diver 2mm gloves. http://www.ndiver.com/products/Super-Stretch-Gloves.html I accept they will be damp, but I would prefer damp and warm to dry and cold. It will be a few months till they are needed, but anyone tried non cycling specific neoprene gloves?

My brother uses them commuting year round. Strangely he is an ex scuba diver....
He thinks they are good.

I wear a pair of liners gloves inside mine to stop my hands sweating. I can certainly say they are 100% waterproof and windproof

My gloves of last resort on tour are a pair of fishermans neoprene - loose fitting, warm good grippy surface

yup , another diver here who used neoprene gloves over the winter . have also talked work into buying some for me for when i am working on the plant decks ( generally on the roof) in the winter - they will end up as my cycling gloves
