The A3 long Road remains closed between Cedars Road and Clapham Common Southside due to an accident. A3 southbound queues are back to junction with Clapham Park Road. Drivers advised to expect delays.

EDIT Jesus! I hadn't seen dawesome's post. But how the hell does a killed motorcyclist get classed as a ''moderate accident?''

I suspected there was a death involved as I saw a one of those white tents they always put up. The traffic down there was appalling this morning, i saw a few silly cyclists taking some risks when filtering.

It would have happened before 7am, as the BBC London news was covering it then and A24 was already packed at that point.

I think they're only referring to the level of traffic disruption in the immediate area, not passing comment on the actual incident.
