Anyone know how to copy a whatsap video and post on CC

TBH I may have asked this before.
Mods.....I cant decide which section this should go in.
So.....I get a whatsap video. It appears as though I can copy it but when I try to post on CC it tells me something like its not recognised.
I have googled the problem and it appears I am not on my own.
Just wondering if anyone knew of a simple way to do it.

Can you email it to yourself and do it that way?

I don't think you can embed videos (mp4s) as I tried it the other day. You can do links to external videos but I couldn't embed a video into a post.

Send an email to yourself from your phone and add the video as an attachment. Open it on your laptop and from there put it on CC

It won't work. It will be an mp4 file and you'll get a message saying "The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension. "

Yes. On android.
The arrow allows me to forward it to others but not to copy the link so as to post it eg on CC.

Interesting.....I will try that one as I know whatsapps go into my gallery.

You could upload it to YouTube, Facebook or Twitter and provide a link, but you may have understandable reservations about sharing it on those platforms.
