First Post, So i brought this bike, i noticed the pedals say BSA, as are the cranks and chain wheel. But the frame has no markings apart from a reynolds 531 decal. The Lugs are quite nice but I have no idea as to the make of the frame. I have looked through lots of pictures on google, at bsa racing bikes and others but No results.

Any ideas to what Make the frame is please?

I would say it is a BSA of the 50's The brake caliper looks to be a GB Sport so Mk1 1953 Mk2 1955 and Mk3 1958
I have a Tour of Britain with the same lugs and chrome which is 1955 the colour is a magenta as was the team bikes of the time but I know it came in black in 1958 so could have been finished in blue like yours in 56 or 57?
Or BSA may have used the same frame for different models. the 531 transfer is the same as the one on my wife's 1958 Raleigh.

hope this helps.

Glad to hear you will be riding it.

Thanks I have just had a look I think you are right, the lugs are very similar on the tour of Britain.
And it rides really well compared to some old racing bikes.
