Anyone here got false teeth ?

For some reason my top teeth started to, literally, break up about 18 months ago.
The upshot is I am having a palate with false gnashers fitted next week.
I have had 3 fittings and today was the last one with a wax palate.
It really made me gag so I hope to get used to it.
Any other false gnasher users on here ?
Any comments welcome.

No I've got all my own bar 3 I think.
My friend had a false top set after his bridge snapped and he got a flexi plate one.
My Mum had a set of acrylic dentures made and these cost £1,200 ish and they were the cheapest at a private dentist.

I found it easier, when the dentist was taking a mould if the roof of my mouth, to lean forwards rather than laying back in the chair. I warned the dentist that he'd likely be wearing my breakfast otherwise.. 👍

Didn't think of that, lying flat on my back was not pleasant.

thinking about getting some lower ones for my failed molars, after i had to have my wisdom teeth surgically cut out as they were growing in horizontally the teeth have never been right .
Mrs ck has an upper denture as the chemo did her teeth in .
