Hi folks,
anyone got these overshoes? I like the look of the reflective piping and of course the price. However the only thing i am not sure about is the heel covering the rear studs of the shoe so you are actually walking on the material. Now i wont be walking far in these but i will be walking in them nevertheless. My priority at this time of year is actually waterproofing rather than warmth.
Anyone got these, or their own recommendations?

I have those overshoes and have used them throughout the winter. They are very warm indeed, but beware they are not meant to be waterproof, but rather showerproof/resistant instead.
They do begin to wear at the back of the heel as you suspected, even though I only put my feet down at traffic lights and roundabouts, which is rarely as I spend most of my time in the countryside avoiding such things.
With the spring just around the corner, hopefully, will you need these this year?

as i said i'm looking for warterproofing mainly....the blurb says so....but if yours aren't then they are not what i want. Take your point about it being spring, again just looking for the waterproofing factor rather than the warmth i can worry about warmth come August  ....if i was riding home tonight for instance i reckon it would have taken all week to dry my shoes out.....it was pi$$ing it down round here tonight
