Hi folks. Just wondered if any of you owned the above bike and had fitted mudguards to it.

I have the SKS Longboards but have found that the fork crown needs a larger diameter bolt than any that seem to be included.

Anyone happen to know the diameter and length that I would need and where I could purchase one? I have emailed Forme in the meantime to ask them too.

try an M6 bolt and buy one the same length as the bolt they gave you, probably an M5.
Best thing to do is to go to a DIY store with the bolt supplied and buy a bolt that is one size large in diameter by the same length.
I had to do the same with a pannier rack but this also meant that I needed to drill out the hold where the bolt goes in the rack to fit the new sized bolt, probably not a good idea to do that on the mudguards.

A chandler's could be a good place to look. My local canal boat repair yard has all sorts of odds and ends in stainless steel.

Thanks. Thought crossed my mind. Wondering if it would be better to remove the brake fitting and fit the mudguard bracket between brake and fork. Don't think I have much in the way of spanners though and a bit nervous of unscrewing anything. Lol.

Think the suggestion from Gaz that M6 bolts may fit is worth a try so found a seller on eBay that has an assortment of different lengths. Why is nothing straightforward. Probably easier just to take it into the bike shop in Perth and get them fitted and save the hassle.

Just take the brake off and thread the brake bolt through the mudguard fixing on the front of the fork. Much the same for the back guard. Just one allen nut to loosen. When you're tightening the brake back up, squeeze the lever tight and it will help to centre the blocks against the wheel.
