Very distinctive ''to be seen'' lights. I'd guess they're not much use out of an urban context and at $250, they're pricey. So, I like them but wouldn't buy any.
I bet you in about a year or so they probably will be going for 50 like everything these days starts off expensive and then poor sales then they drop the prices. Don't you think they look a bit Tron style.
They look really great, but they cost more than my bike, so maybe I'll wait six months and buy the Chinese ripp offs that will (sadly I guess) inevitably make an appearance on Ebay.
If money is not a problem then yes, but for average joe bloggs its a no, its an experimental price, as are most of new products and people who buy now will kick themselves later when the price drops later, they do look cool though.
To expensive...and I'm wondering how the dirt from the the road will affect the lightss...my rear light gets caked every ride at the moment and its up high on my seat post.
No, and the reason why - revolving weight just where you don't need it. OK won't matter if you are running Marathon+, but for a nice tidy road bike, no ta.
They're out my price range, but I remember seeing these a while back on kickstarter and thinking they were a great idea. I'm not entirely sure there's enough light projected forward for unlit roads, but the 360° visibility is great and they're probably sufficient for urban commuting, and a great "being seen" addition to any commuter. Oh and they do look really cool
