Anyone been to Lidl yet?

What's this years stuff like? Considering popping to my nearest branch at lunch. I particular might look at a Gilet given it's been freezing so far this year!

Yep and I was very good! Bought the gilet and a non cycling outdoor jacket. Most stuff in our store no rechargable lights that I could see. Did have mens spd shoes for a tenner (they're no sidis though!). Don't know if I'm just in between sizes but the jackets, etc seem to come up huge. Gilet looks ok, not especially thick though

I haven't been yet but I'll be wandering over there soon. Looking at the track pump - not that I need one - I see it's got a 3 year manufacturer's warranty so at £5 it might be very useful for those with tyres that run up to 8 bar (a wee bit under 120psi).

yup, sizes are big i'd down size, im usually at top end of xxl but the xl fits nice.

bought two jerseys, a gilet, gloves..... no mens shoes in my store...

I picked up a Gilet,Gloves and a Jersey although they only seemed to have one of each size/colour,Unless it was done intentionally to stop people buying in bulk ?

Oh I do like bargain shopping.

Really useful sale for me as I just getting back into cycling after years away so I've next to no stuff.
Came home with a floor pump, mini pump, tool kit, gloves, helmet and bike computer. Some of it looks like it won't last all that long but they'll be a useful start.

One Gilet for me. +1 on the sizes being generous. I'm normally a large but a medium Gilet was fine on me.

I got the glasses to replace mine I lost a few months ago - they worked well on my 21 mile commute. I went in looking for a ss jersey but they only had S, M, and L - no fat b'stard for me.

Work stand looked good though, back tomorrow with some more cash for this.

Got two jerseys- one short sleeve and one with arm warmers (bit random to see that there), some padded shorts, a base layer top and some gloves- £32 for a load of commuting gear, happy days.
Bit gutted all the tyres were schrader- my fault for not looking at the brochure properly before I went.
