Family business prevented me from taking part in my first sportive in my home town, looks a great course (the fun course) and it does take in a lot of the course i ride myself at weekends , what were the thoughts on the people from the forum that took part and how did they find the Hills ???

Not exactly but the group I was with rode many of the lanes and a cpl of climbs on the Saturday. Some nice climbs and speedy descents in the Dorking area. I climbed Ranmore for the first time and it was fairly strenuous.

On Sunday we did Col du Boite, from the wrong side  Saw plenty of smiling sportive riders coming the other way, who had just crested the pinnacle. The National Trust cafe area, was particularly busy.

Well done, I myself will try the Ranmore climb for the first time this weekend and then onto Guildford maybe

It'll be a nice fast ride back down the A25, from Guildford. Prevailing tailwind also!

Just remember to take the left hand turn half a mile past Abinger ;)
