Anybody know of any info on Simplon bikes from Austria

good evening all fellow cc ers i am eagerly awaitining delivery of a newly acquired mid 80's Simplon bike , all i can find is that they are an Austrian company making mid range bikes that are still producing a wide range of bikes to this day .

anybody else have any other info , to make the wait easier for me

Get this months Procycling. Marcel Wust is reviewing the Simplon Serum (€6000) He loves it.

Although without wanting to rain on your parade he loves every bike he tests. I suppose, on the other hand, if I were being paid to ride top end bikes in Mallorca I'd probably love them all too!

Anyway, lots of nice pictures. It does look pretty classy.

I don't know anything about them but they've got a good site on the web, Firefox/Google Translated it for me. I did find the translation Balloon Bikes interesting though, I had to look because I'd never heard of one of them! I don't know what I was expecting but that wasn't it
