I'm asking this because I set mine up yesterday, everything is set up, it tells me the time but it doesn't give me any stats, such as the current mph or max speed.

Anybody else had an issue like this? Or anybody have any idea what I may have done wrong?

So when you spin the wheel you get no speed indication?

If so you will need to move the magnet on the spoke and the pick up on the fork closer together. There should also be a mark on the pick up as to where to level the magnet so that it's in line.

I the distance between sensor and magnet needs to be only a few mm. Try detaching the magnet and running it past the sensor by hand to see if it picks up on the movement. If it does then it just needs to be closer.

I had one like that, I took it back to the shop and got a new one, because it was broken. The sensor wire from the magnet to the computer wasn't working.

Take a paper clip and briefly touch it between the two metal spots on the back of the computer a couple of times (when it's off the mount). You'll most likely see it start to record a speed.

It's not a setup problem, unless as ianruk says you've got the magnet too far from the sensor.

Nope, didn't work.

EDIT: *Yay* fixed it, different way though.
