Anybody done Oxford to Cambride?

Hi,

Anyone done the BHF Oxford to Cambridge ride? Done a few 55 milers including L2B and Tour de Vale, but wondering about stepping up to the 89 miles. What is the route like?

Piece of cake. It's almost all flat. It's noticeably downhill on average. The only climbs are pretty short and not that steep. It's on quiet roads through pleasant, if not stunning scenery. There are organised stops 15 miles apart - the perfect gap for this sort of ride.

We did it last year - set off at 7:10am and were done soon after 2pm, having expected to be on the road until nearly 4pm. That was with a couple of half-hour stops for breakfast and lunch. And without any real drafting or group riding.
