I have a Dawes Discovery 501 (2008) which has a worn out rear rim and I don't feel up to building a wheel. The plan is to buy a budget wheel and fit the existing 9 speed Shimano Deore cassette to it. The problem is that I want a 622 x 17 rim, 32 or 36 spokes, and an O.L.D. of 135 mm. ( Just like the current wheel ). I just can't seem to find such a beast at moderate cost. The hub doesn't have to be fancy. The existing one costs about £17. I wonder if anybody could point me in the right direction.
