Afternoon all. Any fellow rowers out there? I'm cycling a lot as a break from the rowing side of things before the start of the next season. Fitting in about 10 miles per day...maybe longer on weekends!
Say hi if you're about... if not get on an erg and try rowing anyway!

I used to row a lot at Uni, but I don't live near a river now. However I do still ergo on a Concept 2 I own. I've found that doing "Sufferfest" video's works just as well on the ergo as it does on the turbo (that rhymes ;)). You just ignore the cadence stuff, but the perceived effort works just fine and it breaks up an ergo session into something a little more interesting.....then you jump on the turbo and repeat for more pain!!

II too own a Concept2 rower and find it one of Satan's devices. I only need to do another 85,000m to complete my million meters. Can be as boring as a turbo but the work out is pretty total.

Satan's own sport. I avoid trying rowing like the plague having been around people who row for a decade now (school, undergrad and postgrad).

Rowing, not even once!

Ive never understood rowers . They seem to get annoyed by everyone for getting in the way yet they are the only ones that are not looking where they are going
