I was browsing Argos trying to find Star Wars stuff for my son's birthday, when I spotted this and even from the little pic it didn't look right so I took a look at the big pic too

Hmm .. lets hope the ones in the box aren't built by the same person... back to looking at lego sets and duvet covers for him...

Good grief...

Apart from the front brake being behind the fork!!! Are Argos something to do with Halfrauds - I'm sure their mechanics(?) are capable of that.

Does it have light sabers that come out of the handle bars? That would be useful for keeping cars at a safe distance.

Am I missing something?
The front brake is on the back of the fork, but is that such a big deal? It would still work.

I like the idea of light saber's coming out of the handle bars ... can you get that as an attatchment to any bike...? My son would love that idea (as would I ... preferably glowing different colours depending on what I thought of the driver ... red - too close... green good distance... and all sorts of other combinations)

forks are back to front

a friend of mine bought her daughter's bike over for me to look at. her hubby had put the fork back to front, with the result that the bike became very unstable and scary to ride.

Even good shops muck up. My neighbour bought a Marin from Edinburgh Bike Co-op, a pretty good outfit, and they knacked the threads on the crank. Looks like they fitted a pedal to the wrong side and just forced it on! Worse was that they let it go out like that and the pedal came off.

you'd be amazed at the mistakes that photographers/models make when shooting cycling related products. i've seen mitts inside out, frame bags put on incorrectly and bibs worn over a jersey before now…

I think just red - keep away or I'm going to slice your car up:evil:
