Any ideas on bottle cage options without lugs?

Hi all, just ordered on-line a Topeak water bottle tube adapter. Looked around and found a few but all quite pricey for a one off requirement want to carry a third bottle on a ride. Anyone used a DIY option for this conundrum? Thought about using very wide cable ties and rubber pads before but opted for the Topeak bracket in the end. Just wondered what people have done. Shove the extra bottle down the front or back of your bib shorts. Or if your jersey pockets can hold it securely so it doesn't bounce out (a loose bottle can be dangerous), put a bottle there. I would advise putting a disposable bottle there. Drink one of your bidon's then use this extra to refill it, then dispose of it.

I've just put one of THESE on my fixed gear bike as it has no bosses at all for bottle cages.

Seems well made and I'm more confident in it than some of the plastic ones I've seen.

Gotta be top tube mounted, saddle bag and rack limits options somewhat, thanks though!!

If you have a rack AND a saddle BA can you find somewhere in all that luggage?

To be honest, probably but would rather have the extra bottle on the bike in case of leak or something.
