Hi, has anybody had dealings with them and can you recommend them. I'm looking to replace my old Dawes Kalahari with a new Dawes Mojave for commuting but I'm not too sure if the price at £256 (freep&p) is too good to be true.

They've been around for a while and I've been to their place but not bought.

They only have a 17" frame model available so assume they are clearing out stock for cash at the end of the season.

I always tell myself this, if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

I have looked at them before for ebikes

and they always seem to have ones that were last season - or even from several seasons ago

so I presume they buy up stuff from the end of season and pass it on

For normal bike this is fine
If anyone was looking for an ebike then I would worry about how well the battery has been looked after if it was stored for a year or two in a warehouse
but other than that they might be a bargin

It’s not a massive discount on an old model entry level spec bike that was at the more budget end to start with.
They've likely had it lurking gathering dust in the warehouse, last one, small size.
if it’s right for you, size and spec I wouldn't be suspicious, looks fine for commuting, cheap 7/speed parts
