If so could one of you do me a favour and apply for some tickets for the UCI Track event at the Olympic Velodrome?

Why not join BC, apply yourself, and help support the sport?

Because when I first started riding I went with the CTC and now have gone with a 5 year membership which has 3 years left.

Oh and thanks so much for your help.

Your choice, turns out to be the wrong one in this instance. Thems the breaks...

You could always join BC in addition to CTC, but if you choose not to them do not expect BC members to help you out due to you making that choice.

Have I got it wrong? Because the Olympic Test event in Track Cycling is at the London Velodrome from 17th - 19th February and tickets will be on sale from 17th November from Click here for tickets after 17th Nov.
They cost £10-£40.

BC Members can apply/order tickets 2 days before they go on sale to the general public and as they can have up to 6 each the probability of being able to get tickets once on general sale are looking poor. I will have to reluctantly join BC to try and get some tickets, I will also have to take the day off work (no half days allowed) to apply as we are barred from Ticketmaster here at work. Still I am sure it will be worth the effort and extra expense to take my Dad so he can see how track cycling has changed since he used to regularly go to Herne Hill in the early 50's. Perhaps I was wrong in thinking that people on her help each other and what goes around comes around? I will continue to help people when I can. In fact if Noodley wants to join us on one of our track days at Herne Hill he is more than welcome as long as he joins the CTC and Audax UK
