I've read about these results elsewhere, but seeing the data involved money, so it's nice to see some stuff dribbling out...

I'm not sure you can draw too much from the wattage figures themselves, as there's no way he would know the precise wind conditions, the weight of the rider, the effects of drafting etc but there are no surprises, so the simple human/miraculous/mutant model seems pretty good.

Yes, I saw this and I agree that despite the obvious caveats, it is a very good working model for confirming which results we might at least be suspicious of - as all of the performances he highlights, we were actually already pretty damn sure were dodgy anyway.
