Another which bike question

Hi all,

I have recently started cycling again aiming to get fitter and lose some weight. I would like to get a new bike, my budget is £1000 (max).
I have been looking at road bikes, particularly the Orbea Dama, but I am not sure I will find them comfortable, I have never used one.
At the moment I am trying to decide between a Specialized vita expert and a Giant dash 1.
I don't know much about bikes so any advice and suggestions are very welcome!

How have you come to those selections?

You should try some bikes in your local shop and get advice on what you will be using it for, and what will suit your requirements, and budget.

I chose those because they seem to be quite well specced and I like the way they look. They seem to be light and fast for a hybrid but a bit tougher than a road bike.

You are right about visiting my local shop, I will do it as soon as I can find the time!
