Ok, my turn to ask for tyre recomendations 
The tyres that came fitted to the MTB definately leave something to be desired, they're no-name "Taiwan" knoblies with not much grip tbh, and it's time to replace them.
The MTB (GT Agressor hardtail) is not used on road very often (that's what the road bike is for), and mainly for messing about in the local woods/singletrack etc (although I am contemplating heading over to Lee Quarry for a play soon).
I'm looking for a good all-round tyre, suitable for most off-road conditions (holy grail I know), I've just spent a fair few quid on the other bikes so need to keep costs down to a minimum too.
Any advice?
