Can anyone read the graphic on the down tube, or know what model Raleigh this is? Thanks ever so much.

I'm assured that it is a Raleigh, but I haven't seen the bike, your photo hasn't got the same down tubes.

You might be correct though the Emmelle looks more like it.

They produced many different models and styles, even mountain bikes. The lettering in my pic looks identical to yours.
I wouldn't get too excited though, one comment from the net was that 'Emmelle makes Apollo look high tech'

LOL, I think this is an older Raleigh I'll find out on Wednesday, it's not a bike i'm getting and an acquaintance of mine is asking about it.

There is a Raleigh that looks similar, but I am 80% sure that one has integral light brackets to hang "Never Readies" off of, which the one in the photo does not.

Emmelle fans/victims, might those Never Readies be worth more than the bike?
