Ok, so after recently buying my new (to me) Chris Boardman 2010 hybrid comp I need somewhere to store it. probably should of thought of this first lol.

Anyway. Our shed is tiny, not water tight, unsecure and just crap. Plus if my bike lives in my shed im less likely to use it as its a pain to get it through the house.

I cant keep my bike in the house because we have 3 young children and there just isnt the room.

The side passage of our house is enclosed one end with a wall and then a 9 foot high locked wooden gate at the other end. This passage however is very narrow. Its about 1 meter wide. I did think of purchasing one of those bike caves but they are too deep and in never be able to get through let alone get the bike out.

So i need to come up with another solution.

I was thinking about buying a wall bracket to hang the bike from the side of the house only by a few inches just to get the wheels off the floor. So something like this

Then, I started looking at bike covers. THIS looks the best one from reading the reviews. I figured i'd make small incisons for the bars of the bracket to to through and then also chain the bike to the wall for security.

Do you think this will work? Do you have any better solutions?
Any kind of storage can only be as wide as the bile which is about 60 cm ish.

Not sure how well these work but I was tempted to buy one myself for sane reasons as you http://www.worldofcamping.co.uk/tid...e__4129?utm_source=google&utm_medium=merchant

Get rid of the wife and kids and then you can keep your bike in the spare bedroom. Simples!
