The fundraising ride is from London to Amsterdam 29-31 May- riding via Harwich and taking in some of the commemorative sites of the Kindertransport route of the children as they fled Nazi Germany and made their way in many cases here to the UK. We have a family (father and son) riding the challenge, who’s own mother (and grandmother) hid in Amsterdam during the war just a few doors down from Anne Frank’s hiding place, then later after the war married someone saved by the Kindertransport movement and both settled here in the UK.

  • Follow the poignant and historic trail of the Kindertransport route and memorials

The Anne Frank Trust UK is a not for profit educational organisation set up in 1990 by British family and friends of the late Otto Frank. The Trust draws on the power of Anne Frank`s life and diary to challenge prejudice and reduce hatred. In keeping with Otto Frank’s vision of education as key to a fairer and more humane society, our work in schools, prisons and communities encourages people to embrace positive attitudes, social responsibility and respect for others.
By providing peer education programs, we aim to reduce prejudice and discrimination, by increasing young people’s understanding of others who may come from different cultural or religious backgrounds. Through initiatives such as our Anne Frank Ambassadors we aim to encourage and develop socially active behaviour among young people.
