...a Rockrider XC 500. The spec is confusing SRAM GX or NX? Mine is coming from France so I emailed to check and they confirmed GX (and also 11.4kg). It will be interesting to see what turns up.

It has taken over a week from my order for it it show as "prepared". It has been showing as shipped for a couple of days now but the UK carrier does not have it yet.

Chatting to someone at Decathlon they said that they only make small batches of higher end bikes as they mainly sell sub £500 units. They don't like stores to hold many of the more expensive bikes in stock.

My previous Decathlon bikes have been good value for money.

I waited 3 weeks for a set of lezyne lights to be delivered from France via Commenical. I was a little concerned after a while but they communicated flawlessly. Even had to return the rear for a replacement as it was DOA. They sent me a whole new set. Bonus.

They certainly seem to get good press. I've not had any hands on experience with them but it looks like a nice bike. Enjoy!

Good call @G3CWI I fancy a Rockrider 560. They have some in the store down here, yes there's even two here now. I've heard their customer service is second to none. Maybe Halfords could take a leaf out of their book.
