Hello all

I was wanting a bit of help. I have inherited an Ammaco "Tony Doyle World Champion 1986" racing bike from my late father-in-law. He was a keen cyclist but alas this bike is surplus to requirements, and my wife and I would like to sell it.

I would prefer to sell to an enthusiast, but I really have no idea what this bike is worth and whether or not this type of bike is of interest to an enthusiast, and would like some advice.

I have found an image on google: http://i46.servimg.com/u/f46/14/56/64/46/td210.jpg (hope the link works)

Any help would be very much appreciated

thanks

nice bit of retro steel there

If you stick it on ebay use phrases like 'ideal fixie project', there's a strong market for steel frames for doing fixed conversions.

So I doubt you'll have any problem shifting it, but as Cycleops said, you won't be retiring on the proceeds, someone will probably buy it just for the frameset IMO.

Good luck

DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
I've got one; it's been re-painted blue and has a Gios badge:blush:

It should have 3x7 Suntour gears plus Shimano 105/Exage brakes?

Value? Mine was free, but they've gone on eBay for £60 (unrestored like yours) to £280 (re-painted and re-built).
