I'm searching for a pair of good quality amber wall tyres for my restoration project. Whilst there are plenty of cheap amber walls around i am looking for a good quality/brand tyre. Must be clincher and available in 700c x 28.

The two i have found so far are the Michelin Dynamic Classic and the Panaracer Pasela (see pics)

Any alternatives that i've missed or experiences you've had with these tyres?

I've used the Paselas in that size. Despite being a touring tyre, they roll pretty well and aren't too heavy. Good puncture resistance.

Continentals with the brown sidewall might be worth looking at too.

Thanks for that User482, was leaning towards the paselas myself, just had a look at the Conti site and the only tyre i can find on there is the GP Classic, great looking tyre but they only do a 700cx25

The Gatorskin comes in brownwall and 700Cx28. More of a road tyre than the Pasela.
