I Used some hard wax polish, which made it go white where it had caught in the rust pitting. So I looked around the shed & found some 'turtle wax colour match' in red (which must be ancient cos I haven't had a red car for years!) Put that over the top ...bit of a rub... & hey presto, colour & shine!
