Well more thick than normal
I can set up shimano rear dérailleurs with no problem but the sram set up on the boardman has me flummoxed.
I looked at the instructions on bikeradar for setup and my cable routing is fine but it feels like the 1st click to a larger cog needs a very big throw and when changing to the smallest cog it needs a double click.
I am on night shift so my brain is not exactly firing on all cylinders but i have checked all the obvious things like cable tension etc .
Easier to just take a quick trip to the LBS who i bet will fix it in 5 minutes rather than getting frustrated ? i did read somewhere about pulling the cable tight while holding the shifter on the 1st click to set up cable tenson but it has flummoxed me atm.
