Hi,
Recently I started to have some pain behind the knee.
I thought that could be a seat problem, so I tried to lower it a bit...and here came the surprise: seat post completely stuck!:cursing:
I tried everything, bottles of lubricant, freeze it and so on, without being able to move it of a mm.
Now, since the most fragile part is the frame, I don, t want to insist too much.
Other than trying with the local bike shop, any other possible way?
Even if I cut it, how can I remove it then?

Hi,

I'll bet its nothing like a Ali seat post stuck in a steel frame. Try riding it a
bit with the seatbolt barely tight, I reckon it will loosen and move shortly.

rgds, sreten.

Hi, I cant comment on your specific case, but a lot of knee problems are caused because the saddle is too low and needs to be raised, not lowered. Also the use of too big a gear. I have intermittent knee problems and I just ease off putting pressure down and give it time to sort it self out.

Hope you fix the seat post.

Thanks Keith,
The pain is behind the knee, that's I suspect the high seat.
But after Sunday I start to think that it might be cleats position.
