It takes a bit of effort to wreck a rear derailleur.
Is it that which is totalled or is it bend into the wheel? Just thinking it could be the derailleur hanger that is out of use.
If indeed it is the derailleur that's bit the dust then pretty much any mountain bike spec derailleur from Acera to XTR will do the job. It all depends on what you're willing to spend.
