Here is a full groupset minus the brakes and with one or two niggles which I will mention in detail. The groupset is Shimano (I believe the full name for it is Shimano Altus c10 which is pretty bottom of the range stuff). This groupset is ideal for a pub bike/hack/shopping bike but I would not recommend it for serious mountain biking. Also, I may be stating the obvious here but please take note of whether the derailleurs are compatible with your bike – I reckon that this groupset is most suited to an older steel framed mtb more than anything.

See all photos at: http://s734.photobucket.com/albums/ww343/ipokecows/

The bike all this was on has seen very little use indeed.

I am located near Fareham, which is near Portsmouth. Collection will be preferred and priority given to those who offer to collect, but I will look into postage and packaging if required – though this charge will be on top of the above.

Missing brakes + incomplete bottom bracket.

Wheels: I can’t recall seeing a brand on these as I didn’t look closely, but there is no damage to them and as you can see from the tyres, they have been ridden little. I will point out that most of the dirt on this groupset is infact dust  .....the bike all this was on has seen very little use indeed.

Chainset + pedals: In pretty good nick, the chainset is made out of a really solid/strong plastic, not metal, but when I say plastic I don’t mean Toys R Us bendy stuff.

Derailleurs front+rear: Front derailleur is clamp on. Note the hanger for the rear derailleur – suit to horizontal dropouts.

Bottom Bracket: Unfortunately, I could not get one side of the bottom bracket out of the frame it was in, so I can only offer one side of a bottom bracket + both side’s bearings. Let me know if you don’t want this included...Oh and I am unsure of the purpose of the plastic thing here - I'm sure it could be removed harmlessly.

Shifters: Thumb shifters, the left (Front) shifter is friction, whereas the right (rear gears) shifter is indexed. There is an issue with the right shifter in that the part where the cable enters is cracked. Retro as it sounds a tad of super glue, or even tape if you don’t mind it being ugly, will fix this – even if you decide to leave it I see no reason why it would not work.

Cables: I have included the cables which came with the bike – these may or may not be long enough for your frame. Also, there are no crimps on the end of the cables. I will include some random cable outers I found in my garage from a previous bike project. I have no idea if these will do the job for you, but there is no harm in throwing them in there as a nice extra.

Any more questions then just give me a shout. I will be happy to take more photos or any measurements etc. Let me know if you are interested in this but want an alternative rear derailleur - I have another cheap shimano one (off a BSO) which may fit to more modern frames

Thanks for looking.
