Shimano oil and syringe kit TL-S703 for hub oil change.
Need help and advice as to availability, and indeed need, of the genuine Shimano service item above.
My Cube Hooper needs its first service on its Alfine hub. I live on the Isle of Wight, bought bike from Southampton (nearest Cube dealer) which is a trek for a service. Looking at Shimano service doc's online (TL-S703) the oil change looks straight forward enough if you have the syringe with hose that screws to the hub. Also mentions right hand seal tool TL-S704.
Looking online for syringe kit says Madison do it for £45 ish, no luck with seal tool. Anyone out there done this job with advice as to ease and kit needed.
