Very good choice! I wouldn't want to ride without my airzound now - it's come in handy many times!

Has anyone used a foghorn, the sort of thing you see on yachts with a pressurised cannister? They last for ages and are very loud indeed. Too loud for a bike really........

The Zound is plenty loud enough. During Bike Right we were riding in Berwick on Tweed when a black labrador took exception to the stream of recumbent trikes and Dfs riding onto the pier. Hackles up it came charging at us so I gave it a blast of the Zound, it stopped in its tracks, still looking angry it allowed us to ride on unmolested.
