After a wet ride

What's best to do for the chain to stay nice after a wet ride? Last time I didn't do anything as I forgot at the chain rusted and was no good and damaged the rear cassette.

I wash and dry my bike after most rides, but especially when it's been wet.
I make sure the chain and cog are dried properly and then I lube the chain. If you do this each time you won't go far wrong

just give it a wipe with a rag and a relube if needed

I give it a 'mickle' which is basically a clean and lube.

But you don't tell us what you 'clean' it with during your 'mickle' !!

Rag and fenwicks wet lube on the chain
GT85 on the frame.
for me its as simple as that.
When its dry the rims and everything get a thorough clean and lube.The bike is used every day for the commute whatever the weather. Still looks like new

just wipe it down with a dry rag (old face cloths are great for this).
re-lube and put away.

wash at the weekend if i get chance , mines not carbon so it will not melt in the rain
