I've wanted to ride on aerobars for a while now and at one point bought some clip-ons (but they didn't feel to good). I've been looking at an all in one aerobar set for £250, but then realising i'd have to buy gear shifters (£50), brake leavers (£50) and pay for them to be fitted (£50). Having to fork out £400 is a bit steep for some handlebars and makes me think - should I just save the extra £600 and buy

I take it your using it for doing time trials?
Keep using the clip on ones, if you want bull horns, get some old drops, turn them upside down and cut them. Use your normal brake levers with the gear changes on if you can. See how that goes.
But then £400 just sounds veeerrrryyy expensive to me, have a look around on some more sites if you havent already.
If you are doing TT, then i would put another £200 in and get a complete bike.
But thats just me:biggrin:
