Anyone have any tips for this? I'm wary of spoiling the water repellency on my long trousers.
I was advised against using Vanish Oxi Action, but to use Head and Shoulders shampoo!
It did work quite well actually (rubbed in neat with an old toothbrush) and removed some, but not all of the stain.

Will WD40 work on the ceiling of my car. The best way to get my bike in the tiny car I own is to remove the wheels and then place frame upside down on back seat. But I got oil on the ceiling

It's just felt and cardboard init really ? Not sure I should get it wet?

I once used chain degreaser to get a trail of oily marks I'd trodden across A White carpet in my ex landlords house out before he got home.
This was followed by neat fairy liquid, then sponged away with clean warm water. He never seemed to be any the wiser, although I can't say for certain it'll be ok on your clothes.

Hoes wd 40 on dried stains? I find it OK to rinse still wet stains but I haven't tried it on older stains.

I have some aerosol disk brake cleaner. When I christened my new jackets bought by SWMBO for my birthday I used a couple of sheets of ktichen roll to sandwich the jacket and gave it a squirt. Once id got the worst of I then used fresh paper and rubbed it.

Ill not say its off, but its much less noticeable (or at least she hasn't seen it yet and my balls remain where nature intended). Learn to love it.... It's character!

** I tried the squirt on an old jacket first i suggest you do the same!
