Good afternoon I wonder if anyone can help. I've just taken delivery of an old Raleigh bicycle which seems to be unusual in the respect the handle bars are set with the handles facing out. Based on that the back brake is now on the right and the front on the left I don't know if the person who owned it previously had it altered or its simply been tinkered with by someone with very little bit knowledge of the bike. I believe it might have been abroad at some point but as it was acquired by way of a charity I do not know it's history. Can anyone advise or help at all.
