Add blocks button in blogs

Hi,

Probably one for Shaun, in the blogs section of the website (great feature by the way) I can't seem to get my head around what the Add Blocks function does. I click it and it just looks like I am about to write another post of some kind.

Can you let me know ?

Blocks are little widgets to display things on the side of your blog such as Last 10 comments, My Blog Links, Mini Calendar, My Picture, etc.

You can also add custom blocks too - although I must admit I haven't really had much time to mess with the blog settings just yet.
