Went out today to do some recces for future rides stops etc. Ended up doing 99 miles in some awful weather. Route was the scenic route along the Towy Valley from Carmarthen to Llandovery.
Looking west down the Towy valley towards to Llandeillo.
Then up to Lynn Brianne via the upper reaches of the Towy.
Llandovery Castle,good starting point for a ride as parking is £1.00 a day and railway station is nearby with plenty of pubs and cafes.

Need your climbing legs for this one
Llynn Brianne; in all its mystic glory.
The weather ( which wasn tgood to start with) really closed in rain and strong NW wind. So high tailed it back down the Hairpins on beautifully surfaced roads.
Past the tea stop,with Inn next door.
Time trialed back along the A40 with heavy backpack against the wind and,was home in time for tea.
So if you like what you ve seen why not join us on one of our rides soon.
