A snapped derailleur...

and this happened!!!!

This is the Raleigh Record Ace that belongs to a young friend of mine after he managed to snap his derailleur clean in two!
I sold it to him last year and some of you may remember he rode it from Cheltenham to Cornwall not long after, but he's neglected it a bit over the winter; I did tell him to look after it!
(so far this year he's also managed to fubar a Schwinn Classic and a Raleigh Elan, though tbf I think it was his mate that broke the elan

Well, one large, adjustable spanner and a bit of judicious bending (and a bit of a Father Ted moment) later and I think it's fairly straight!
