A Raleigh racer..

..my local junk shop in the Limousin has an old Raleigh for 20 euros. I'd guess it is c.1980 and it looks in very original, tidy condition having only had light use. The frame is 531 and the componentry is good although the brakes have 'suicide levers' so not pro-quality, just a leisure machine.

Unfortunately I hadn't time to note the full details, but I am thinking of going back for it next week as 20 euros sounds a good deal!

Any thoughts? Worth repatriating?

Remove the pedals, turn the handlebars and slide it under the bed

Arrived to buy it and found someone beat me to it.. Should have been quicker!

Instead they had a much inferior Pug for 3x the price.

Still, on the plus side I won't have to convince Mrs A. I needed another bike that was too small and so purely speculative.
