A good SPD shoe

I am looking for a reasonably priced SPD shoe to replace my Lidl specials that look to be on their way out, the cleat attachment threads have worn out for some reason!

Is there anything with a good stiff sole but are still good for walking a couple hundred yards in? Looking to spend a maximum of £50 for a decent pair.

If you like the lidl shoes and other than the cleat screws the are still OK why not buy new cleat plates.
