OK, first, i have to admit that I don't cycle very fast, maybe an average of 10mph!
I've just been out for 2 hours wearing the above top layers, and returned home dry! I had no 'boil-in-the-bag' effects, and was dry throughout!
For the cost, and the ability to enjoy cycling in the rain, I would recommend both items of clothing, particularly if you're not out attempting land-speed records!
We did some minor rural roads, and off-road cinder (and mud) type cycle paths, oh, and a little windy promenade too - It was fun!

I got a Muddy Fox waterproof fluoro jacket when I started cycling again in orange, and was that impressed by it that I got another one in green.
I really can't fault them at all over many miles, on and off road in all sorts of weather, but sadly they're too big for me now (a consequence of all that cycling) so they're stuck in the back of the wardrobe.

I'm 11.5 St, am 5' 11", and have a waist of 32", and the medium (Jacket and trousers!) size is perfect for me. My OH is 5' 4", is size 12, and 11.5St too, and medium fits her too!
