OK, first, i have to admit that I don't cycle very fast, maybe an average of 10mph!
I've just been out for 2 hours wearing the above top layers, and returned home dry! I had no 'boil-in-the-bag' effects, and was dry throughout!
For the cost, and the ability to enjoy cycling in the rain, I would recommend both items of clothing, particularly if you're not out attempting land-speed records!
We did some minor rural roads, and off-road cinder (and mud) type cycle paths, oh, and a little windy promenade too - It was fun!
