Yukiya Arashiro, the talented Japanese breakaway artist, now riding for Europcar, has won his first European stage race, the Tour de Limousin. The weird thing is that he sneaked this one, it wasn't at all up front like most of his riding. Anyway, as someone who's followed his career for a quite a while, I am very pleased: Omedeto, Arashiro-san! Ganbaremashita!

Yes, good on him. I was quite impressed with him during the tour this year.

And what a lovely part of the world...stayed very close to Limoges on our way to Pau back in July.
