When I was a kid with my small frame Raleigh Arena my brother had a lovely green Carlton bike but I could never remember the model name and I'm pretty sure it looked identical to that Continental so at least now I know which model it is. It was a lovely bike. I think he had it for 2 or 3 years before swopping it for a Puch Maxi moped. That Puch Maxi always had trouble starting, he would cycle it for about 50 metres before the engine would kick in. I'm sure I remember his Carlton having centre pull brakes not caliper/side pull type brakes and he certainly didn't have a chrome front light like that, that thing is huge.
