This is a full rigid framed Cannondale Series 2.8 (precursor to CAAD3) MTB that is my general purpose/commuting bike.
I know it was an expensive bike when new and I picked it up a few months ago at a price which reflected it's age. With a bit of TLC, it's arguably the best bike I own, given that it's the one I would miss most of all. It's strong, stiff, light and fast.
It's no longer made. What is the modern day equivalent?
It has Shimano STX / STX/RC components, Avid single digit brakes.
