Hi all. When riding I seem to get a ticking clicking sound. It seems to have changed gear ok. Would this be a set up. Or a chain issue. Chain has very little ware cassest seems ok I don’t know how old it is. The gears are not jumping it seams to be position ? Any advice would be great

Could be many things, so first a few questions:

What bike, and what gears?
Does the ticking happen all the time, or only when pedalling?
Has any work been done on the bike just before the ticking started?

Its mezzo D9 its SRAM PG950 gears no work done apart from checking chain ware and a light oil only happens when pedalling sounds like the chain is trying to change up or down

It may be a simple as a stiff link in the chain. Get the bike in a stand or get your self low so that you can watch the chain go around the smallest cog. This will often show any problems as it bends the chain the most. If you find a odd movement just keep going over that bit of chain till you find exactly which pin or link it is. Good luck.
